COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland wrestling freshmen shined for the program as th Terps complete their annual Red-Black Dual.
The list of winning freshmen includes Adrien Cramer, Jaxon Smith, Braxton Brown, Conner Quinn, Ethen Miller, and John Best. That group helped earn the Terps the 8th-ranked recruiting class in the nation. Two transfers, John Martin Best and Zach Schrader, also earned decisive victories.
Wrestlers for the Black side won all 13 individual bouts.
Next weekend the Terps will send a large group of wrestlers to the Clarion Open as they face other wrestlers and universities for the first time this season. Maryland opens its dual schedule on November 12 against Virginia at the XFINITY Center Pavilion.
