BRUNSWICK, Ohio –Students from our area were among more than 200 students whose exceptional academic work was showcased during the Baldwin Wallace University Ovation 2022 Day of Excellence. The following local students presented their work:
From Medina: Abbey Albrecht, majoring in environmental science and sustainability, presented “Behavioral and Physiological Responses of Mayfly Larvae to Road Salt.” Stefanie Laudolff, a psychology major, presented “The challenge of measuring uncertainty in public opinion polls.” Maddie Miller, majoring in pre-allied health/pre-physical therapy, presented “The Prevalence of Acetabular Labral Tears in Female Collegiate Distance Athletes.” Alyssa Musat, majoring in neuroscience, presented “Identity, Inspiration, Awareness, and Empowerment in STEM through Storytelling.”
Christian Pedersen, majoring in software engineering, presented “Choose Ohio First STEM Scholars Program – Manufacturing Tech Career Trek.” Dana Rabung, majoring in software engineering, presented “Choose Ohio First STEM Scholars Program – Manufacturing Tech Career Trek.” Kayne Spieker, majoring in political science and international studies, presented “Democrats, Upper-Middle Class have Greater Confidence in Science.”
