VMI Wrestling Hosts F&M and Duke Sunday

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will host a tri-match Sunday in Cormack Hall, welcoming Franklin & Marshall College and Duke University.

VMI will face F&M at 11 a.m. and Duke at 3 p.m., while the two visitors will square off at 1 p.m. Admission is free for all three matches.

About Franklin & Marshall:

The Diplomats took 10^th of 11 teams at the Keystone Classic Saturday. John Crawford finished fifth at 197 pounds while Mason Leiphart placed sixth at 125 pounds. F&M placed eighth in the 35-team “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic hosted by Millersville University.  

About Duke:

The Blue Devils are 1-2 on the year, falling to American and Maryland and defeating Bloomsburg at the Maryland Duals in College Park, Md. in early November. Jonah Niesenbaum went undefeated Saturday at 285 pounds at the Keystone Classic to earn his second-straight tournament title.
