MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University wrestling team has added a sixth home match to its 2021-22 schedule against the Glenville State College Pioneers on Dec. 10, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The Pioneers are led by second-year coach Dylan Cottrell, WVU’s first Big 12 Champion.
Cottrell wrestled for the Mountaineers from 2016-17, where he qualified for the NCAA Championships twice – 157 pounds in 2016 and 165 pounds in 2017 – after transferring from Appalachian State. The Mountaineer alumnus was also named an Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection to close out his senior season.
He guided the Pioneers through their inaugural 2020-21 season as an NCAA Division II member.
