COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its 2023 wrestling schedule Tuesday. In addition to three home nonconference matches, Ohio State will have four additional dates with Big Ten foes in Columbus in 2023. The Buckeyes will have four road competitions as well in conference play.
The 2023 Big Ten season begins on the road at Indiana Jan. 6. Three of the first four Big Ten matches for the Buckeyes will be away from Columbus.
After Rutgers takes on Ohio State Jan. 15 at the Covelli Center, the Buckeyes battle Maryland (Jan. 20) and Michigan (Jan. 27) on the road.
Michigan State (Jan. 29) and Penn State (Feb. 3) face the Buckeyes in Columbus before the final road match of the year at Northwestern Feb. 5.
Ohio State concludes the Big Ten Conference regular season at the Covelli Center Feb. 10 against Nebraska.
The Buckeyes have won three of the last eight Big Ten titles and finished in the Top 3 at the NCAA Championships in five of the last seven years.
